VERTIGO 2006

I am not very ambitious. I have very attainable goals and a few people find some of them so weird. I'm one of those guys who took the Beatles song a bit too seriously.

For example, if everything stayed quo, I would rather visit a concert of Bruce & the E Streeters than walk home with 1 million dollars (U.S).

Top of my list include:

A Bruce gig (New jersey, or somewhere in Europe like Barcelona or Milan)
U2 gig (anywhere but India)
trip to New Orleans, New Jersey and Memphis
World War II tour (Normandy to the Eagle's Nest) with Renu
Disneyland with Renu
trip to Liverpool (not for the football, dummy) with Renu
Disneyland with kids (when that happens)
Once a year to Bali
Learn to swim
Learn to Drive (again took the Beatles song too seriously) ... many more short term goals
Stay fit
Be a good dad

So, the U2 gig is around the corner. They were supposed to stop by Australia in March, but postponed the gig due to illness. I did something stupid, and missed out... but as fate may have it, they have added a new show at Sydney (Nov 13), tickets for which sell on August 11th. I need to be at the ticketmaster site to get this - and in less than an hour of the opening, otherwise there goes a good chance to catch these guys before its too late.

So, Vertigo 2006, lets hope I make it...
