Peter Boyle, RIP

Peter Boyle died on 13th.

For a few years, I was ok with the idea of 'Mondays' because of EverybodyLoves Raymond. The series became my favoutrite because of Ray Romano. But Peter Boyle was fantastic in it as his grumpy dad. He died of Multiple Myeloma (my grandfather succumbed to that as well) and heart failure.

May his soul rest in peace.

SAMSUNG LCD's SUCK

If you are considering to purchase an LCD TV, make the choice of buying a Samsung at your own peril.

This is a warning.

I have had the agony of owning two 40" LCDs since July 2006 (One te first TV, and teh other was a brand new replacement).

Both had problems - and I have colleagues who faced the same issues.

Even the retailer (Harvey Norman) agrees that Samsung's defects are more in number than any other brand (15 out of 1000).

If you still buy a Samsung because the price seems great to you - go ahead.

But don't feel like an idiot when it does 'Bond' on you.

As for their service - it sucked.
